CHAPTER 2: DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF FULL-TIME WORKERS REPORTING CURRENT ILLICIT DRUG AND HEAVY ALCOHOL USE

This chapter describes the demographic characteristics of full-time workers, age 18-49, who reported current illicit drug use or heavy alcohol use in 1994. The goal is to describe those who reported use in more detail so that a demographic picture of them may be developed. The chapter also provides information about the overlap between current illicit drug use and heavy alcohol use.
