SubState Data on Alcohol: 1999 - 2001

For the first time, by combining data from several years of SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health, SAMHSA's Office of Applied Studies is able to estimate alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drug use in smaller areas than the State level. These subState areas within each State were determined by the States themselves. Tables provide the data by the State assigned names of their subState areas. Maps show prevalence of the variable by the subState areas.
