Alcohol Use, by Age Group and Race/Ethnicity (Tables 7.1 to 7.3)

Among all of the adult age groups, whites were more likely than blacks and Hispanics to report lifetime, past year, and past month alcohol use (see Tables 7.1 to 7.3).16 White adolescents were more likely than black and Hispanic youths to report past month use; past year alcohol use among adolescents was less likely among blacks than among whites or Hispanics.
