Figure 7.1 is a pie chart indicating the estimated numbers and percentages of adults with perceived unmet need for mental health treatment in the past year. Of a total of 8.3 million adults with perceived unmet need for mental health serviced in the past year, 4.0 million had received treatment in the past year and 4.3 million had not received treatment in the past year.
