Figure 6.4 is a bar chart that indicates the percentages of adults receiving past year mental health treatment by cigarette use categories. The chart shows that among adults who received mental health treatment in the past year, 7.5 percent never smoked cigarettes in their lifetime, 10.4 percent smoked cigarettes in their lifetime but not in the past year, 13.2 percent smoked cigarettes in the past year but were not daily users, and 14.0 percent were daily users of cigarettes.
